It’s almost time to go to your Chevy dealer to find the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban. Both of these SUVs will receive a refresh for the 2025 model year.
These SUVs are receiving some new features, upgrades, and technology compared to the earlier model. While we still have some time before they arrive, we have some information about what to expect.
The Biggest Updates are on the Inside
Both the Chevy Tahoe and the Suburban have a new look in the cabin. The new dash design lowers the instrument panel and gives it a more open and airier feel. In addition to the updated design of the dashboard, the rest of the cabin has a different look, too. The steering wheel is redesigned, and the gear shifter is now attached to the steering column.
If you bump up to the High Country, you’ll get real wood trim, but this is not the only change to the trim in the cabin. The rest of the lineup also has new materials, including Galvano chrome.
The Tech Is Unbelievable
You can’t miss the massive 17.7-inch screen that stretches across the front dash. It houses the infotainment system and has both a touchscreen and physical buttons and knobs. The knobs are mostly for the climate controls, but there is also a knob integrated right into the screen. All trims will come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety Technology Is Plentiful
The safety technology in the new Chevy Tahoe is impressive. Not only does this SUV have the high-tech driver assistance features that we’re used to seeing, such as lane-keep assist, automatic high beam headlights, and forward collision warning, but it also offers GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system.
A Connected Cameras feature is a new system for the latest model Tahoe and Suburban. This allows you to remotely see and record the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Its main purpose is for security purposes so you don’t have to go back to the SUV to get images after a crash.
Safer and Easier Towing
When you drive an SUV with the power of the Chevy Tahoe, you just might use it to tow your camper or boat. The 5.3-liter V-8 engine gives you enough horsepower and torque to tow up to 8,400 pounds, and if you have your expensive gear behind you, it just makes sense to have an SUV that will make it easier to get to your destination. The new Chevy Tahoe has a forward path indicator that can predict how the SUV and the trailer will turn so you stay safer. It also has a new Trailer Navigation system. If you’ve ever driven down an unfamiliar road with your trailer behind you, you’ll appreciate this navigation system that will suggest routes based on the size of your trailer.
