Destined for Greatness

The BMW brand brings a ton of clout in the automotive world and the reputation of this brand makes you think that everything that wears the BMW badge will have the look and performance you want when it’s time to get on the road and have an amazing drive.

Knowing this, the 2018 version of the BMW X3 is one that should be destined to be a model that’s sold and enjoyed by more than many other models in the lineup. The desire for the compact crossover SUVs in the luxury class makes this the SUV that will be chosen by many this year.

When you take a look at this little SUV and head out for a test drive you’re going to enjoy the power that’s just right for the vehicle. This power comes out of a lightweight 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 248 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. This is plenty of power for this little SUV to get going and give you reasonable fuel mileage. The engine is attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission to help offer you 22 city/29 hwy mpg and make this a smooth and luxurious ride for you on any road.

The Drive

No matter the power under the hood, every BMW model is expected to be a vehicle that allows the driver to enjoy the experience with the balance, handling, and steering response that’s offered. The X3 is certainly part of this conversation with the precision movement and chassis that’s been built to make sure you have a composed and balanced ride when you head out on the road for an amazing drive. This is an SUV that will make it easy for you to experience what you want and gives you the qualities that you associate with the BMW name.

If you want to choose this SUV and have the handling improved from the standard model you’ll want to add a couple of options to the equation that will make it better for your drive. These items you can add are the Variable Sport Steering and the Dynamic Handling package which allow you to have the added feedback and an upgraded performance when you take the X3 out on the road for the day. Check off these two boxes and you’re going to be absolutely amazed at the feeling you get when you carve up the curves on a winding road that’s all yours to explore.

The Comfortable and Sporty Interior

The BMW X3 is much easier to ride in than it’s been in the past with a quiet ride and the comfortable seating you want to have when you get on the road and take a drive. The infotainment system is extremely user-friendly and the controls are all placed right where you want them to be. There is an optional head-up display that you can use to have the information you’re looking for when it’s time to get out on the road and have the tools you need for a great drive.

You can choose the optional lane keep assist which gives the steering wheel a shake when you head out of your lane and need to get back into the middle of the lane you want to drive down. The materials used, multiple colors, and excellent style make the interior of this SUV one that you’ll love to experience. The area is also versatile with a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat and a large amount of cargo space behind the rear seat to make it easy for you to take stuff with you when you need to.

Is this the SUV for you?

The BMW X3 is an SUV that starts out as an admirable SUV and can be upgraded to one that’s absolutely incredible. As with many of the other luxury models in the market, you’ll have to choose some of the options if you want to add more to this SUV for the ride, but those options are well worth the extra cost. In this class, you’re going to have a hard time finding an SUV that you enjoy more than this one; make the X3 the right SUV for you and start driving today.
