How do You Know if the Newest Chevy Silverado is the Best One? Let’s Find Out by Comparing the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 to the Upcoming 2024 Model

Chevy Silverado

Every year, trucks like the Chevy Silverado 3500 come out with a new model that proclaims to
be better than the last one. But how do you know?If you’re looking for a Chevy 3500 for sale, you want the best one you can get. So today, we’re
looking at the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD and how the upcoming 2024 model compares
to it!

What the 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 Truck Has to Offer

When you’re looking for a truck, you’ll be hard-pressed to find one better than the 2023 Chevy
Silverado 35000HD. To start with, it can haul 36,000 pounds, has a 7,442-pound payload, and
gets up to 910 pounds of torque.

That’s thanks to its two engine options – a 6.6L V8 engine with a 6-speed automatic
transmission and a Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Get the Work Truck trim if you want a truck that does the job without unnecessary fancy
features. If you want standard fare or a bit of extra tech, check out the LT or LTZ. And if you
want to really know what “everything” is in a truck, upgrade your ride with High Country’s trim.
Speaking of everything, the 2023 Chevy 3500 for sale today has the tech and features of
tomorrow – like a 15-inch Head-Up Display that can project information like speed and safety
alerts onto your windshield.

There’s also a Multi-Flex Tailgate with 12 tie-downs, assist features like a full-width step for
standing on, and an available 120-volt outlet for all trims.

As for safety, there are forward collision alerts with automatic emergency braking and available
Intellibeam headlights for enhanced visibility.

With all these great features, what could make the 2024 model better?

Will the 2024 Silverado 3500 Make Great Strides, or is it More of the Same?

The upcoming 2024 Silverado 3500HD has the same amazing engine options but got rid of the
6-speed transmission – there’s only the 10-speed automatic now. The grille and front bumper
got redesigned, and there are new 18, 20, and 22-inch tire options.

Two first-ever trim options are being added, too. The High Country Midnight includes black
accents, badging, and 20-inch black aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires. The ZR2 is designed
for offroading and better hauling – we’ll learn more about it later this year.

Instead of the 15-inch Head-Up Display, there’s a 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen above the
wheel and a 12.3-inch driver information center with built-in Google compatibility.

More safety and tech features are standard now than ever: from adaptive cruise control to lane
departure warning and Intellibeam headlights, the new 2024 Chevy Silverado will have it all!

But does this make it the better option? Which one should you buy when you’re looking for a
Chevy 3500 for sale this year?

Taking Advantage of All the Options

Honestly, the best idea right now is to go for what’s best for you – consider the 2023 and
2024 models as good options.

The 2023 model’s trim will serve you well if you just want a work truck. If you’re concerned
about safety or really want that new High Country Midnight style, you won’t have long to wait
before the 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 is released.
