5 Companies/Industries Experiencing Great Success with Snapchat Ads

The niche platform for the young is more effective than ever for marketing. We’re talking about Snapchat and your company should be using it.

Many companies are finding success with the use of ads on Snapchat, which is where the largest growth in the social media marketplace is happening. User activity has increased on Snapchat to the point that many users are on the app more than twenty times a day.

Why Is Snapchat Important for Your Brand?

The first generation to adopt Snapchat, Millennials, are coming to an age where they will make and spend more money than any other generation very soon. By the end of this year, this number will grow to $1.4 trillion, which is a total of thirty percent of all retail sales. This generation uses Snapchat several times a day, which means your brand needs to connect with them.

Offering authentic content that separates your brand from the rest is what Snapchat is all about. Create the fear of missing out on what you offer with your audience and you’ll have them hooked. Keep them hooked by presenting them with content every day that will grab their attention and let them connect with you. When users find your content to be unique, they will want to engage more fully with you and what you offer.

The Five Brands With the Most Snapchat Success

Self Finds a New Self on Snapchat

The end of the print edition of Self magazine took place in 2016 and the future was unclear. Since that time, the magazine has found readers and followers on Snapchat. The Discover section for publishers on this social media site features a weekly package of information from Self. The frequency of using this section increased to three times a week and it reaches 8 million unique users every month.

Taco Bell With Lighthearted Fun

Snapchat ads from Taco Bell are meant to be funny and offer a light approach to the bran. This unique way of presenting the content you want to see makes this a perfect marriage. Taco Bell has taken different events to their Snapchat audience to give you a comical approach to social media on a new level. The “Taco Head” campaign shattered a record with 224 million views and it is still one of the top-performing campaigns on the platform.

The Bar Party by Jägermeister on Snapchat

Jägermeisterincreased the amount they spend on ads that are presented on this platform to $100,000 when the 2018 Halloween push took place. This liquor brand created an AR campaign that featured a Snapchat lens of taro cards that would reveal the cocktail fate of the user. This gave users a chance to interact with the cards and view them on any background surface and tap them to see the fortunes withheld in the cards. Some were simply suggestions for how to drink Jägermeister, but what do you expect.

Bareburger + Kabaq for a Unique Dining Experience

Instead of using influencer partnerships, Bareburger chose to focus on using the technical features of this platform. Using a custom Snapchat World Lens, customers can scan a Snapcode and see a virtual dish on their table to give them an augmented reality of enjoying the meal. The idea is to drive traffic to the restaurants where these real meals can be enjoyed. This experiment also opens the door to create a 360-degree experience that can be activated by simply scanning the Snapcode.

Moet and Chandon Grab the Attention of Consumers

According to a Snapchat blog post, more than 44 percent of users in the US look to friends and family for recommendations on alcohol purchases. This makes the platform the right place for a company like Moet & Chandon to peddle their wares. The holiday season saw a campaign centered around a Tower Toss game where a cork was shot at a Moet tower to see how well each player could do. This subliminally put the name of the brand in the heads of game players on Snapchat.
