Your local Buick dealer has an exciting new vehicle coming to its showroom this summer: the 2024 Buick Envista. As the last new gas-powered vehicle for Buick before transitioning to an all-electric lineup by 2030, the Envista provides an affordable entry into the Buick brand.
Most Buick Dealers expect the Envista will attract new customers to Buick showrooms.
Stylish Yet Affordable
With a smooth, elongated exterior inspired by Buick’s Wildcat concept, the Envista has the stylish looks of a sedan but the functionality of an SUV. Starting at just $24,495, the Envista gives drivers access to Buick styling and a premium experience at an affordable price point, according to Sam Russell, Buick’s marketing director.
Replacing the Encore
The Envista will replace the Buick Encore as the brand’s most affordable model. Buick discontinued the Encore last year in favor of the larger Encore GX, which has a higher starting price ranging from $26,000 to $35,000. The Envista provides an opportunity for Buick to attract new customers seeking a fully-loaded vehicle at a lower cost.
Well-Equipped Crossover
As an entry-level crossover, the Envista comes standard with front-wheel drive, a turbocharged 1.2-liter engine (136 horsepower), and a safety package with a host of driver-assist features like automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. The interior also includes a crisp infotainment center and dash, a total of 19 digital inches of display screens. For customers wanting more premium amenities, the top Avenir trim starts at $29,695 and gives you all of the comfort and convenience features you would expect from a top-trim Buick.
Production of the Envista begins next month at a GM plant in South Korea. Buick dealers across the U.S. expect to receive the first Envista models this summer but check with your local Buick Dealer to learn more about when this beast will be ready. The Envista is the second of five new Buick models debuting over 18 months. The final new model will be Buick’s first all-electric vehicle, arriving in showrooms during the first half of next year. Every Buick Dealer in the country is getting ready for this EV’s unveiling.
Once Buick transitions to offering exclusively all-electric vehicles (2030), the Envista may be the last opportunity for customers to get into a stylish new gas-powered Buick. Everyone anticipates a strong interest in the Envista, as it provides an attractive way for new customers to be part of the premium Buick brand without breaking the bank. For customers wanting the latest in Buick’s EV lineup, Buick’s all-electric future looks bright. But for now, the Envista offers an exciting final gas-powered option to end this chapter of Buick’s production.
