Meta Gives Dealers New Ways to Team Up With Creators

If your dealership has ever tried working with a creator, you know how scattered the process can feel. You find the right person in one place, message them in another, then try to figure out whether their video can run as an ad. Meta’s new Creator Marketing hub pulls those steps together, and Instagram live video ads add one more way to get in front of a creator’s audience.

  • Meta launched its refreshed Creator Marketing hub on September 15, 2026, putting creator discovery, outreach and ad tools in one interface.
  • Updates include new discovery filters, built-in partnership messaging, one-click ad creation and content permissions with expiration dates.
  • Live video ads are coming to Instagram with a September 29 start date, letting brands sponsor a creator’s livestream.

What’s Inside the New Creator Marketing Hub

Meta first announced the refreshed hub back in June and officially launched it on Tuesday, September 15. The pitch is pretty simple. All of Meta’s creator discovery and outreach options now live in a single interface, so brands don’t have to bounce between screens to set up a partnership.

Discovery is a big part of the update. New filters help brands track down relevant creators and content, including a predicted affiliate content search tool. Content recommendations have also been improved and are now based on objectives, so suggestions are meant to line up with what a campaign is actually trying to do.

Once you spot a good fit, partnership messaging is built right in. You can go from finding a creator to reaching out without ever leaving the hub.

The content side got attention too. Permissions can now be set on individual pieces of content, and they can carry expiration dates. For a dealership, that’s a cleaner way to handle an old question. How long are you allowed to run a creator’s walkaround video after the deal wraps up?

Meta also added one-click ad creation from listings, along with ad editing tools. One of those lets you strip out copyright-protected music or stickers. A clip with a trending song might work great as an organic post but cause headaches as a paid ad, so being able to remove it on the spot could save plenty of back and forth.

Sponsoring a Creator’s Instagram Livestream

Meta is also bringing live video ads to Instagram. The feature lets brands sponsor a creator‘s livestream, and Meta set September 29 as the start date. Since this is a brand new rollout, check your own ads account before building a campaign around it.

Live video runs on immediacy. Viewers can react and ask questions as things happen, which could help drive engagement and makes sponsored streams a good complement to product launches.

Picture how that might look at a dealership. A creator could go live when a new model lands on the lot, walk viewers around it and answer questions from the comments in real time. A community event or a big sales weekend could work the same way. Your store gets tied to the moment while people are watching.

More Options for Agencies and Outside Tools

If your store leans on an agency or third-party social software, Meta’s API updates matter too. Facebook and Instagram creators are now part of the Creator Marketplace API, and an updated Messaging API makes creator outreach easier.

Meta is also expanding its Content Discovery API so outside partners can find and evaluate content on par with Meta’s own tools. That covers recommendations on top-performing organic creator content, advanced filters, keyword search, organic insights and a clear view of which posts are ready to run as ads. In practice, the same features could start showing up inside the tools your agency already uses.

Meta is adding its Meta AI business assistant chatbot to the hub as well, where it’s meant to help with creator discovery.

Getting Your Store Ready for Creator Campaigns

None of these tools will pick the right creator for you, but they do remove a lot of friction. A good first step is looking at who’s already posting about your store or the brands you sell, and whose followers actually live in your market. From there, decide up front how long you want to use a creator’s content and set permissions to match. And if you’ve got a launch or event coming up, a sponsored Instagram livestream is worth a look once it shows up in your account. Finding, messaging and running ads with creators now happens in one place, which leaves more time for the part that matters most, picking partners your customers already trust.
