3 EV SUVs for Sale in 2024

Over the past 10 years, EVs have gone from rare to commonplace thanks to lightning-fast technological improvements and popular demand.

EVs who were once seen as a somewhat expensive luxury item can now be spotted seemingly every time you pull up to a traffic light. That being said, let’s take a look at three stylish electric SUVs.

A quick look at three electric SUVs for the 2024 model year.

2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV

First teased back in early 2022, excitement can be used to describe the emotion stirred up by Chevy bringing back an iconic name like Blazer. Built on GM’s BEV3 electric vehicle platform, Chevy offers three trim levels for the new Blazer including a base 2LT trim, mid-range RS trim, and a range-topping SS trim sporting 557 horsepower and 648 lb-ft torque and a sub-four second zero to 60 time.

Chevrolet estimates a maximum driving range of 320 miles when equipped with a 105-kWh battery. The Blazer EV is meant to convey Chevy’s sports car heritage using an athletic design language and subtle styling cues such as functional front fender vents and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Starting prices for the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV are set around $47,500.

2024 Volvo EX30

Volvo designed the all-new EX30 with the environment in mind, but hidden away is a secretly sporty side. Built to have the smallest CO2 footprint of any car on the market today, the little EX30 uses 30 percent less steel and aluminum than their largest SUV. Three trim levels are offered; a base Core trim, mid-level Plus trim, and top-end Ultra trim.

Volvo boasts a power rating of up to 422 horsepower and 400 lb-ft torque along with an estimated 3.4 second zero to 60 time, truly blistering for a small and modest SUV. The EPA-estimated range for the EX30 stands at up to 275 miles using an optional 69.0-kWh NMC battery. Entry-level pricing begins at around $34,950.

2024 Kia EV9

Kia has seen record sales over the past few years, with 2022 sales numbers up 136 percent over 2021, and the EV9 hopes to capitalize on this success. Built on Kia’s EGMP electric vehicle architecture, the EV9 is Kia’s first third-row electric vehicle. Power numbers of up to 379 horsepower and 516 lb-ft torque are promised along with a 5,000-pound towing capacity, making it a great option for families who own boats or campers.

Kia estimates a maximum driving range of around 300 miles thanks to an optional 99.8-kWh battery and a drag coefficient of 0.28, meaning better aerodynamics than some current supercars. Order banks for the EV opened in early October, with deliveries taking place at the end of this year. Prices start at around $55,000.

These three electric SUVs are great examples of what the current market offers, with a lot of options to suit your lifestyle. Which one would you like to see in your driveway?
